Vienna, 1730. Prince Eugene of Savoy, prime minister to the Emperor CharlesVI, ordered our manufactory a table service, called after his beautiful Viennese castle.BELVEDERE.
Today, we present you the exact same shape in a contemporary interpretation. Plates are hand decorated with fish, wild boar, "chinoiserie" or simply with a 24k gold or platinum rim. High temperature colours for hotels are now possible. Our 32cm large setting plates in turquoise, green, cobalt blue fit them perfectly. Tea, coffee and espresso cups are painted in full matt dark grey, light grey or turquoise; the inside and the handle are in 24k gold according to an original design of Joseph Hoffmann's talented student Friederich Ludwig von Berzeviczy-Pallavicini, who worked later for Helena Rubinstein.
