Augarten Ena/Orient chinese tea pot

Featuring oriental elements integrated into a vibrant and modern design, this shape from Ena Rottenberg in an excellent example of the forms and designs of the 1930s.Ena Rottenberg was a student of the ceramics pioneer Michael Powolny and a member of the "Wiener Werstätte" circle of artists. The lids of this masterpiece of Art Déco design are available with either simple knobs shaped as exotic heads. The four heads represent coffee and tea-producing regions of Asia and Africa. The orient shape shows the high quality of the hand-made Viennese porcelain to its best advantage. Available as dinner, tea, coffee and mocha service (also with platinum and gold border).
